Why did we create the
Empowered Money Academy?
One of the main things we were craving during the start of our debt-free journey was a community of folks who understood what we were going through. We wanted to find realistic strategies that fit our growing family and made sense for the season of life we were in.
A lot of personal finance content leans heavily into the deprivation and shame space. Now more than ever it is important that we are providing support that reflects the lived experiences of everyone. Accountability can be firm and honest while also coming from a place of empathy and grace.

You'll know Empowered Money Academy is right for you if you've been feeling stuck on your financial journey for some time. You may be caught in the debt cycle, or you may have plateaued on your journey. You might be feeling like you want accountability, but you're unsure if private 1:1 coaching is what you need. The Academy gives you a starting platform to find what can accelerate your money journey toward financial wellness.

The self-paced coursework is designed with your sustainable change in mind. We will be releasing new lessons each week so you can work through the content without feeling overwhelmed and "behind." This allows Academy members to invest themselves into each lesson completely. This drip approach caters to a busy schedule for working families and the life seasons we all find ourselves in at times.

We'll be rotating the live calls throughout different dates and times each month so that no time zone is unfairly disadvantaged. Calls will be announced in advance and you will be provided with calendar links so you can add the calls directly to your personal calendar.

While we believe that attending the live calls is one of the main benefits from the Academy, we recognize that not all calls will fit with everyone's schedule. As such, we'll be recording all calls and posting them privately for the group to watch on their own timeframe. This also means you can binge past recordings when you join!

We believe that someone will receive the greatest value from the Academy by being in for at least a year, so they can see how life seasons move through their financial journey. However, there is no minimum and you can unenroll at any time.
